Dream Diary #3
Had a dream that I found ‘Che Parts 1 & 2’ on BluRay at Sanity for $32.00.  ”What a bargain!” said my dream-self.  Then I woke up. Later that day, I went online and purchased ‘Che Parts 1 & 2’ on BluRay for $22.00. “What a bargain!” says the real me.

Cosmology and the Full Stop.
When I first began thinking about the Full Stop, the astronomer in me imagined it as a magnificent place to visit and explore.  As a person who delights in seeing and thinking about far away dots of light, and who appreciates that these tiny dots are in themselves vast spheres of gas and light or rock, my mind is naturally drawn to the tiny textual dots in a similar way.  Just as the stars...

Laughter
Laughter was my medicine today. I laughed so much that I had to stand up and hold onto the walls until it subsided, because I thought I was going to end up leaking everywhere.

Fans Turn Against the Phantom
http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/10/15/3039506.htm?section=entertainment It’s funny how fans turn against their former idols. To this day, Star Wars nuts still whinge about ‘Episode I: The Phantom Menace’, without ever seeming to realise where that film belongs in the story arc (it’s a movie about a 10 year old kid, for starters). As a teenager I was known to...

Dream Diary #2
Well - this time I dreamed an intense spy thriller. A team of three Israeli spies were behind the JFK assassination. They wore grey military suits and brown boots. I found them in the change rooms of the Nunawading pools, and disposed of them with a clean shot in each forehead. But there was an underlying sense of gloom. Part if me did not want to kill them; part of me died with their final...

Dream Diary #1
Dear Dream Diary, Last night I dreamed I was in Target. Or was it K-Mart? In my dream they were selling Carl Sagan space DVDs at very cheap prices. They were titles I had never seen and they promised to take a deeper look into the cosmos than had ever been done before. And then I woke up. Sleep tight, Damian

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010)
Director: Oliver Stone Starring: Michael Douglas, Shia LeBeouf, Carey Mulligan, Josh Brolin More information:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1027718/ Many years ago I used to be a card-carrying member of the “I Hate Oliver Stone Fan Club” (I was one of two members).  My main gripe centred upon Mr Stone’s tendency to make movies which were as subtle as a brick in the face – the main offenders...

Pin Head
When I was at the gym a couple of weeks ago, a Pin Head was doing leg curls next to me on the Leg Curls Machine.  And while he was doing his leg curls, he was yelling. “Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” he screamed as he lifted the weights.  Then he legs went down, and he took a breath and then his legs went up again, and he yelled, “Aaaaaaaaaaggh!” (Maybe I should explain what a...
